After about 1 1/2yr of dealing with my inconsistence 100gal bare bottom tank and what felt\was a 8-9month cycle, then getting ich, and then a month delay on my order due to weather!! I am finally able start loading the tank up with coral. And once again there is no comparison. Size and quality is just a step above from @Battlecorals. Also digging the new bags and the new logo’d battle brushes!!

Impressive list there. I have the motha ship table and it is way under rated. The colors on it are amazing. Good luck with the pack!

Have to give Adam a shout out for this one. My Blood Bank has now nicely colored up after being in the tank for a while. This thing is insane! I took a white picture then a blue picture. Looks identical to his site! Highly recommend!

Nice! So you ordered 4 and got 6? Can I see a pic? Also, any chance you could tell me how much you spent? I’m trying to decide what size to order/how much to spend in order to get a great package. (I.e. if I order a $300 vs $400 6 pack, what’s the practical difference, or if I choose a 10 pack instead, would I regret it, etc).

In my experience- set your price point for your Battlebox and then let Adam know what your looking for. In past I just let him know the color I was looking for (red and blue) and what I didn’t want (Monti’s) he picked as many as he wanted and what I got was amazing! In another instance I said it’s not about quantity - and asked him to knock my socks off - and did he ever...

However crazy enough one of the first battle boxes I did I had asked for no name SPS and one of those turned into one of my favorite pieces in my tank...

So you never know what you’ll get but in my experience Adam always exceeds my expectations every single time.

I don’t think it’s fair for me to post what I paid because it’s a random selection. In general, I assume you get nicer pieces if you request fewer. I tried to calculate what the total cost of my box would of been indiviually and it was significantly more than what I paid. I don’t have any good pictures to share yet.

I’ve ordered 2 boxes so far, a $300 and a $400. Both were amazing! I always do 4 pcs bc I want more high end. I’m the type of person who will obsessively research my purchases looking for colony pics and doing price comparisons and understanding demand for selling frags ( I like to sell frags to afford more frags!)... that said, almost every other SPS purchase feels like a disappointment compared to a Battlebox. Both orders so far I’ve received pieces that look so much better than the photos, are WAY bigger than you get elsewhere, and one that at first glance feels a little like a bummer and ends up being a favorite

Adam @battecorals is legit. I asked for a surprise me box with my add-on laser melon order. I am delighted. He has a vast collection and he is able to pick out frags that pleasantly surprise you. Packaging is tops compared to many online vendors here on r2r.

If I remember correctly I've done 3 boxes in the past, always very happy with what Adam picked. After seeing this thread was still around I had to ask Adam to put one together for me lol If you're thinking about a Battlebox, get one, you'll be glad you did!

You can really spend what you want. Whatever I get I always get the lowest quantity for the box to get the best stuff. I usually get the $400 box with 4 corals and have always gotten an extra and the value far exceeds that. I have also gotten a $600 (or maybe it was 500 I can’t remember), same thing with the minimum quantity. I have never been disappointed and have gotten 6 boxes so far!
