Silly question but can you graft a Zoa?

Questionable results, I’ve heard of one guy having it work on a few zoas but when they grow out there’s no residual effects from it..as in the new growth polyps on the same connected colony don’t show any lasting effects from it.

This was completely random but my eagle eyes took on a green streak around the mouth, possibly from some captain jerks that were near it.
