Grafted monti one color died

I have a JF cold fusion monti that had the darker color die back and is now solely green. Can it ever randomly get the darker pigment come back or will it always be green?

There is always a glimmer of hope.

I have a green and orange Monti. Most all of the orange died off but now it is coming back.
