Has anyone have any experience or heard of any articles where someone has got a live healthy coral and glued it to a dead skeleton of a similar coral. Does it grow over the skeleton or reinhabit it. Does it increase coral growth because the skeleton already exists so no need take one? Any thoughts I'd love to know.

I think reef builders did something similar. Check this out:

I checked out video but that seemed less like an actual skeleton and more like a fancy piece of rock I was more interested in grafting specific coral to old dead skeleton of its self. Example, if I graft a single piece of acro to a dead Colony skeleton of acro will the acro quickly reinhabit the old skeleton or have to grow over and encrust old skeleton.
