Hello, my GMK has been doing really well in my tank, up until recently.
It started being really closed up, and it’s been like this for a week. Im afraid they’re going to completely melt and I’ll lose my investment in these awesome GMKs.
I’ll add that every other zoa/paly has been doing just fine. My Flaming Mohican has been closed up too but still growing.

It is either too much light or too much flow. It might let go of the rock if it can so watch out for that.

Sorry to hear about the GMK, How long was the frag in your tank?

Maybe 6 weeks roughly. It’s not melted but I think it’s getting there

How do you know when its melted? I Recieved about 20 zoa's about 3 weeks ago and the only one that wont open is the grandmaster! I even have a spekled one doing fine! What should I do? I have moved it about 5 times after it quit opening. Should I dip it in iodine or I think its called medi coral by brightwell? I just bought both of those. It was open for a few days at first but hasnt opened since! Most of the new ones are in another tank. I was even thinking of moving it to that tank. I do have about 5 new ones in the tank its in and they are fine though except one utter chaos that feel in the sand bed face down a few days but even it is coming back!
