Have had these grande palythoa for probably 2-2.5yrs

These are the type i have

About 10-12 polyps across 2 separate rocks-were on sandbed under an arch

Moved one rock today probably a little
Over 1/2 way up the tank

Can these take higher light?

Tank is 180g for dimension-all lps/soft g5 radion xr15 running lps/soft setting at 65%

Mine have always done well on the sand bed. Around 100 par.
Never tried them any higher.

Get yer hands on a par meter. 100 par is a safe bet. Anywhere between 20-150 par should be good.

When i checked par it was about 150-160 in that area

Sandbed is avout 80-100 par
