Grant's 57g Rimless Office Tank

Taking another stab at an office tank. This will serve as both a tank to house new corals, as well as a place to monitor new fish that will ultimately end up in my tank at home. Just seemed to make the most sense that I can keep an eye on new arrivals throughout the day at the office. (That and I miss having a tank at the office...) I imagine it will end up housing frags from my DT or clippings from larger corals/colonies that I get for my DT.

I am getting ready to redo a few things on my tank at home, so some equipment that I already have will be switched over from there.

Will be using rock and sand from my home tank so that I should have little to no cycle time. Hopefully I can start plumbing everything up this week.

I built a cover for the return plumbing so that I can have usable space in that area. Here is what it looked like b4 adding the cover/stand, just after i plumbed it up:

I originally had the fuge in with the sump, but it was hard to access and I could see it being a problem in the future.

Skimmer

I am trying to figure out how/where I will mount the Apex and all of the modules, not to mention all of the power bricks and such...

I was thinking inside the stand, but I hate having a clutter of wires and such near the sump. I did pick up a bunch of those zip-tie mounts like the ones that come with the Vortech pumps, hopefully those and some velcro straps will help to route and bundle up a lot of the wiring.
