Hi everyone I have some grape caulerpa in my refugium as well as some ulva. This last week the caulerpa us slowly been dying off. It had pretty much completely filled the refugium so I just figured it ran out of nitrates and I got rid of about half of it. When I did that o noticed some of the ulva was massive and no sign of decline. Past couple days I’ve looked in the refugium the grape caulerpa hasn’t done much but the ulva has definitely grown. Is it possible the ulva is just somehow our competing the caulerpa? Should I get rid of some of it?
