Does anybody have a strand or two of Grape caulerpa (C. racemosa)? It's the only thing that grows well in my fuge. I got rid of it when I set up my 180, but I can use some since Chaetomorpha tends to disintegrate in the system with very lean water.

I had a couple good strands in the back of my DT. I just went to check for you and they are gone so someone must have had a nice snack. Wonder who the culprit was haha.

I still have about a one inch strand in my fuge that you are welcome to if no one else has better ones. It is red grape caulerpa.

I have some in my display tank that im fighting to get rid of. I just recently "pruned" the worst section. There is some more growing in a hard to see area of my tank but im not sure how much is there now. I will check when i get home and see how much i currently have. How big a section are you wanting?
If no one else has enough, give me a week or so and ill have more...stuff wont completely die off.

Hardimanm that is what I want to know! It is a 16 gallon with just two ocellaris, a yellow watchman goby, an emerald crab, two peppermint shrimp, a couple small hermit crabs, and the usual CUC snails. My money would be on the emerald crab but I haven't seen him in a while and I don't see how he could eat that much caulerpa. I've recently cut down on my feedings and light cycle so there is a chance I starved it out but the other algae in the tank doesn't seem to be starving yet. I wish whatever got it would take care of my turf algae too!

Thank you for the offer, WesW, but red grape is not caulerpa. That is Botryocladia.
I would like just a few strands of Caulerpa racemosa, the green grape caulerpa.
Generally speaking, many things eat a lot of red algae except for the type known as dragon tongue and another dark, tough red one. My turbo snails and other clean up crew eat Botryocladia and Gracilaria.
