Grape kelp

Hello everyone I’m new to your sight and I’m not sure if I am putting this I. The right spot, but I was wondering if anyone could identify this for me.

Looks like Red Grape Kelp (Botryocladia sp.) I think Kelps do well with more natural light spectrum (10k-15k)

Thanks for the consideration of a reply. That’s what I’ve been reading. I bought a bunch of corals from someone going on deployment and he had it in his DT and I had no idea. But if it was kelp wouldn’t my tang and emeralds destroy it?
But either way good for the refugium correct?

Yes good for refugium.

Do you happen to know how to yell when I should take it out? I was reading that it can turn a sexual and release the toxins back into the tank.
