You should look into preserving the molts. You can make really nice displays. Here is a quick tutorial. I'll see if I can find pics of mine is used to have before move.

LOL nothing quite so elegant but I do have a pile outside of coral skeletons of stuff I have lost over time along with snail shells when I occasionally clean them from the tank.

Yes, those are mostly molts.

Mostly since 89 but this (small pile) is two years worth from a heavily stocked 200g. Many snails don't last long, I buy/obtain a lot of frags and always some percentage of mortality and of course I had an alk crash that cost me some of SPS colonies and frags a while back. The graveyard serves as a reminder even though sometimes the small stuff just goes in the trash.
