I sold a friend a couple frags that he found gray bugs on. Here is what he told me:
Frags look great. FYI, Unfortunately you do have some of the “gray bug” type of copepod parasites on them, they are much harder to see than red bugs and harder to kill. I treat them with interceptor for 6-8 hrs at about 12x the normal dosing for red bugs. They are more flattened and gray brown with a white band across the middle.
Can anyone tell me what might suffer with this treatment? I have about 270 gal of water volume, mixed reef, fish and inverts. How much interceptor should I use and for how long? Do I shut off skimmer and carbon during treat
