Does anyone use this? I'm looking for a black substrate and stumbled upon gray coast by seachem. Can I put an inch of this sand into my 75 gallon rimless with 135 gallon sump and 95 gallon fuge with deep Sand bed?

I don't know if it will be useful with respect to denitrification at that depth, but it will process ammonia and nitrate.

Well, I've given up on deep sand beds and prefer other methods because I think them more useful.
But I'd probably want at least 2-3", maybe more, if I wanted denitrification since those grains look fairly large.

how about for inverts? The petco black sand was said to be too sharp for inverts
