I have had this particular bta for almost three years now and it has these white/gray sections on its tentacles. They come and go somewhat but never fully go away and sometimes its more pronounced (like today).

Not worried about it as it's been this way for years and has remained healthy, just curious if anyone knew what it was.

Pic was taken with lights off to help show the white sections better.

Don't think I've seen that quite like that before, but you've had it 3 years so it must be ok.
Has it ever split?

Think it has to do something with the bubbles

I don't think so as the same coloration is on the splits that have little to no bubbles.

I think its special !!
Lol maybe, now just to name it something ridiculous and charge a fortune for it lol

Here is a pic with the lights on, not nearly as noticeable.

Yes, many times. I have sold 3 or 4 and I currently have 5 in the tank. I'm waiting for this mother to split, over 12" in diameter now.

I’d name it new storm cloud bta only harvested off the shores of Madagascar by Tribal elders on the third storm in the month of December
