I’m looking for some Acro suggestions with the following characteristics:
1: good looking
2: fast growing
3: easy on the pocket
4: easily available
5: forgiving

Thanks

Cliffs acropora is all of these things. :) I carry it on my site.

Red planet, strawberry shortcake, green slimmer, Garf bonsai and pink lemonade are all pretty corals that grow fast and are realatively cheap.
A couple of those aren’t forgiving though. :) Shortcake and lemonade. Red planet also isn’t necessarily beginner friendly.

I have blue tipped and purple tipped acro at work and its been extremely forgiving. It actually all grew so much over the last few years that it made it impossible to work in the tank. We just spent 4 hours this week giving it a haircut.

For you they might be but in general they are not.
I remember looking into what was hardy sps when first starting and those would come up, especially red planet.

To OP just continue to search for hardy sps and see what comes up, everyone will have different opinions.

ASD rainbow milli!!!!
You kidding me? That’s the slowest growing milli ever!!!!!!
I have it for like 8 months now, finally showing 2 tiny heads.....
In my whole club.... that milli is known to be the slowest of them all.

Sorry you are having trouble with this one, that is unfortunate and frankly surprising... My (and many many others) experience with it have been quite the opposite. I have been growing it for 7 years, to the point of having up to 4 colonies at a time. Many local individuals whom were at the time new to keeping sps have had great success with it as well. Of the 5 Acropora millepora in my tanks it absolutely the fastest growing. It’s one of the fastest growing in my system and has survived two “crash” like episodes. I sell mini colonies several times a year.

Edit: @tqui @DaveRaz @Dayson thoughts?

That is awesome!! Can you show me a picture of your colony. Wonder why it’s so slow in my system and all the others in my club too.
My other acros have grown like 10x from a tiny nub.... but this one.

what do you think about the green slimer? I also think red planet and strawberry shortcake are easy one.

Sure, here are some shots from over the years. In various tanks and under various lighting conditions. My photography skills were pretty lacking at times....
