Seals are plentiful in that area, from what i hear more now than ever...

It never seizes to amaze me how stupid people really are....your in an area where there are seals so there are going to be big sharks and what do they do ...duplicate it's natural prey...one in the kayak ..look at it from the sharks view...long dark with paddling on either side and other guy is even dumber wearing a black wet suit! ..all it takes from a GW is one bite ..it realizes it's mistake , but the damage is done and BTW SexyCoral you have them in Southern Cali too just not as many as up north in the cooler water and more seals...we have them here as well off Long Island waters.

there is a buch of great whites just off the coast in malibu... mostly smaller but still there
