I am looking at purchasing a Great White Skimmer for my 90 gallon tank. total water volume is around 110 gallons. Should I go with the GW-5 rated for 130 gallons. Or push it and get the GW-10 rated for 260 gallons. I have never ran a skimmer before and was wondering if this was way overkill. What are your thoughts?

Thanks!

I would go with the GW-10. It's only rated to 130g for a heavily stocked tank. And every tank should be heavily stocked. ;):p

Agreed! Go for the 10.
Look at the air and water flow they are nearly identical. The only difference is one is large than the other therefore giving you more contact time .

Yep go for the bigger one. When picking a skimmer the heavy bioload is usually what you want to look at because most of us feed heavy and want lots of fish.
