GREEK REEF AUTOMATION SYSTEMS DESCRIPTION.
Greek Reef belongs to an unmarried marine Captain.
This mean that this 500 ltrs salt water aquarium must stay almost alone for several months with no one in the house.
The tank is 3 years old and had already survived 3 winters alone with success in growth and livability.
To achieve this several WiFi automation's have been installed to this system and no its not an APEX system that i love but is expensive for most of the countries except USA.
The lighting is a hybrid system with 6 T5 Bulbs and 2 hydra AI both controlled by WiFi.
Water replacement to the tank is happening straight from the osmosis system by a water line.
The water barrel i use for water changing is refiling alone by the osmosis system so when i like to make water change i have all ready water,also the barrels is heated in the correct temperature.
The feeder is also WiFi and i adjust the feeding when i like to control nitrates e.t.c.
All the systems of the aquarium are plugged to smart power strip and controlled by mobile phone. for example circulation pumps skimmer e.t.c.
2 WiFi dosing pumps for dosing and 5 litrs storage buckets for the liquids to keep them running for several days of dosing.
1 Jebao circulation pumps battery back up for circulation during unexpected power outage.
Also the house is connected by a mobile phone for text messaging when there is a power outage.
This phone is installed inside the aquarium and is used also for controlling all the system apps.
Sump lighting is controlled by WiFi app for open close when you like to check the web cameras.
There is a WiFi water sensor on the floor for unexpected leakages during absence.
3 web cameras are watching the aquarium and the house, one of them have an orange filer lens so i can see the colors of the corals in HD quality image.
Reef kinetics is making the water testing of Calcium Alkalinity Magnesium and Nitrates,also i can see from one camera the salinity of the system by a salinity digital checker i have installed in the sump.
For last the temperature and the heating is controlled by to WiFi heater ,one is installed in the sump and the other one at the main tank display.
1 time per week a friend is coming home and making one water change , check equipment condition and refilling anything that needs refiling.

Auto Water changing under construction (the red tank down in the photo) powered by AUTOAQUA smart AWC system.
