Green algae and dinos?

I'm trying the dirty method with dinos, combined with bubble scrubbing and UV. The past week or so I'm noticing green algae growing on the glass for the first time in a long time. Is this a good sign? Also I'm seeing tiny tiny insects on the glass.

insects would most likely be pods. Green algae on the glass is a good sign. What are your phosphates and nitrates?
