I just started noticing spots of green algae growing on the sand and rocks. I dont really know why. I read that I should invest in snails or hermit crabs. I have 2 Feather Dusters so I wanted to avoid crabs. What are good coral friendly snails?

New tank?
Green is good. Shows that the tank can support life.
Most snails are coral friendly. Research sand dwelling and rock dwelling snails

About 2 months. Had 2 clowns and a Gobby for about a month. Should I just let the green algae grow? I'm pretty new to the salt water aquarium stuff.

I would let it grow. I would still get some snails to help keep things in check.
