Hi guys,

I’ve had a “mini-cycle” from relocating the aquarium and having an algae bloom on the sand... but only on the sand in the centre and one side of the tank. Just want to know if this is normal?
The algae seems really green today....

Should I increase the size of my CUC at all, if so what type of crabs/snails are best?

thanks
Matt

I am guessing it us just diatoms. I think conchs will eat them but they will go away eventually. As long as your tank has relatively low waste levels then it shouldn't be a problem.
