I bought a coral and didn't use coral dip. I noticed a little green stick thing growing on the rock of the frag. Now these things are growing everywhere. Here are some pics. Just curious what it is, and if its harmful in any way. They are pretty firm and break like a tiny glass rod if you pick them off the rock.

Thanks!

looks like some kind of algae.
[HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] got any ideas?

Does it look like it has snot growing on it? If so, could be early stages of dinos.

Not really...but it also is only growing on rocks. Not the sand or glass. Maybe that means something?
