This is my first post, but I have been lurking for a few months. I have to say the reason I haven't posted is because so much information already exists on this site. Its been extremely helpful. Thank you for that!
These pics are from my 2 1/2 month old Innovative Marine 10 gallon tank. It contains a pair of clownfish, a lawnmower blenny, a turbo snail and two Narcissus snails that have been slowly added over the last two months. The numbers are Ammonia 0, Nitrites 0. Nitrates run between 5-10ppm, ph of 8-8.2. I change two gallons of water once a week and watch the salt carefully, which is generally 34 ppt.
Two weeks ago I started noticing these green turds in the corner of my tank where the turbo snail often parks. I assumed it was snail poop, but over the course of the last few days it just seems to multiply. As an example, I changed two gallons of water last night and removed as much of it as I could. Twelve hours later this much has shown up in the corner with a few more sprinkled on the bottom of the tank. If you touch them they quickly disintegrate, but they can be removed with a net.
Any ideas? I just haven't come across any pics or posts that indicate what it could be...
Much appreciated, Josh
