I have noticed over the past week some green algae looking stuff on one of my rocks and I've seen it start growing on some frags. It's not hairy or anything. It's pretty flat and stuck on pretty good. Is it just plain green algae or is it something else? Figured if it's bad I'd try to nip it in the bud before it gets worse.

I'd post pics. Would help a lot. If its what I have, its a "slime" type algae. I'm controlling it by trying to control nutrients. If that doesn't work fast enough for you, nuke it with hydrogen peroxide dips lol

I'll try to get some when the lights come on tomorrow morning

A little overdue with the pictures but this is the current situation. What is this?

Mine is the same way. Can't scrub it off with a toothbrush either. I've been told its a slime type algae. Seems pretty dang hard to me lol. See if someone else chimes in and knows as I'm curious as well. Here's a pic of my tank so you don't feel like your the only one dealing with it.
