I'm done with my cycle and ready to start adding stuff, and I notice the past few days I'm getting a green algae on my live rock.

If this is going to be a out break I'm done, as I'm having major knee surgery in 4 weeks and will be having my kids feed the fish and do top off's

The only thing is I changed my blues up a little to see how it would look at night.

I have a fuge with chetto and skimmer running, so Im lost since I dont have any live stock

Help me figure this out as I dont want to pull the plug Im ready for some fish and corals

Your tank is going to go thru many changes in the next year. Green algae is going to be one of them weather it be green hair algae on your glass or rocks. If you have a proper clean up crew and keep your nitrates in check it shouldn't be to much of a problem.
What kind of rock did you start your tank with?
What kind of lights are using?
What is your lighting cycle?
I would suggest that you lightly stock your tank with fish and maybe concentrate on coral until you get back on your feet.

Dry rock with a few pieces of live rock, dead sand. I have about a dozen different snails in there now and 2 emerald crabs. Im good with just a few fish for now, I just have never seen green algae on rocks like this, I have in freshwater but not saltwater.

I expected the diatoms and such which I have had and they are pretty much gone, but this was something I didnt expect.

Looks like Im ok and will stay on course. I want to enjoy the tank while I sit there and dream of walking fast again LOL

Thanks for the quick advice

Photos to help identify?

Also sometimes coralline comes trough green before purple are you sure it's not that?

Here are a few pictures, let me know what you think

And the rocks are actually white other then the green. The purple must be from my lights
