Hi my fellow reefers, I just want to check in, I’ve been running my Ref Sea 250 for about 7 months now, I have green algae on my rocks, what should I do ? I bought a clean crew about Month ago. Should I do anything else to get rid of the green algae or just give the clean up crew a chance to clean the green algae of the rocks?

Green algae is normal for a new tank. Just keep your nitrates and especially phosphates low and you will be fine. All new rock will do that. Use a phosphate remover like gfo, phosban, phosphate pads, if you arent already. It's a good idea to have filter media such as that when a tank is new so nasty algae types cant establish as well

I see only a few spots. Your snails and tang should keep it in check. As long as it isn't taking over, then let it grow so they have something to eat. If you do find it taking over, then use GFO or Phosban but only as directed and only after measuring with a good test kit like Hanna's. Target range for most reefers is 0.05 to 1.0 ppm. Bottoming out phosphates will cause weird hard to get rid of algae to bloom like dinos. Remember that a healthy wild reef has tons of algae growth but plenty of herbivores to eat it and keep it in check.

So, did the green algae turn into coralline algae? I can't tell from the pictures. And what did u do to manage the green algae, if anything?
