So I just got my first BTA today and was wondering if there was any way to encourage your clownfish to host the anemone?

You can speak to the fish through the glass, that has worked for me... Seriously though. I have actually had success with posting pictures on the glass. I even put my iPad up against the glass with a Youtube video of clownfish swimming in and out of anemones. They would actually swim up to the glass and look at it, no idea if they actually can see it or not, but it wasn't maybe 48 hours later, they were swimming happily in their anemone. I have another time when I used the net and pretty much forced the clownfish into it. This did surprisingly work, but I wouldn't suggest doing it that way.

I might see if I can herd them over to it

I just got it today and didn't know if it needed to settle in first or not. They had just fed it while I was there at the shop today and it was eating

Be careful not to overfeed, small chunks of food maybe 2x a week to start and you should be good to go.
I can't green bubble tips Alive for the life of me and I'm not sure why.
I've got plenty of other anemones but the green bubble seem to be the hardest.

I tried a green bubble and he slowly just withered away... did everything the same as I would a RBTA sure why it happened.

What kind of clowns do you have? Certain clowns will only be attracted to certain anemones. There's a compatibility chart in the Clownfish & Anemone forum.

Just give it time. I dont and have never fed mine directly. Just give them good light and flow and they catch food as it passes by.
