Green Bubble Algae on Snails Shell

Hello,

I have a snail who is absolutely covered in bubble algae, what should I do?

I use a small kitchen paring knife for such chores. For snails, frag plugs, etc. It doesn't take too much to pop off the bubble algae

Hold him under the water and use an old toothbrush.
