Hey All. I have a little colony of Green Button Polyps (I think, I'm still pretty new). There seems to be an inflamed one that is growing a pod or something. Circled below. It's pretty solid and has me concerned as this colony had bubble algae growing on it at some point. I removed the bubble carefully, but this has me worried it's going to burst and cuase a real BIG problem. Anyone seen this before and or should I be worried/remove carefully?

Are you sure that's not a little pineapple sponge growing among the zoas? Hard to see in picture and not sure about the red color, but that was my first thought.

Better picture (and the red is Cyano that I HATE). Perhaps a pineapple, I had never heard of that before. And I just noticed a new bubble algae. Also, thanks for the ID help!

I would say that is definitely a pineapple sponge now that I see it under whites. I had a bunch in my tank a few months back, but they slowly declined in number. I still have a few in my sump, but I don't see them anymore in my DT. In general, they are not a bad thing to have, but I'm curious if that one will irritate the zoas where it is at.
