I have had some green button polyps that have decided to lose their green coloring. They haven't been moved and the flow is low to moderate. Lighting is ma spect razors. The nitrates are 10, cal 400, alk 8.5, and temp is 80. That has been the norm for a while. I top off with rodi. Salinity is 1.025. All other coral are doing well.

No I haven't changed anything. They have been in the same spot for about 4 months. They are on a big rock and to move them would mean moving a lot of other coral.

not the best picture but this is them.

It could be water chemistry, or perhaps when you got them they were already green and it took 4 months for them to adapt the lower lighting.

In my experience, the green buttons will stay bright green with higher light.

I have them in pretty high light. Max spect razors 16000k maxed at around 70%. They are placed mid to top. If they go, I'm sure I can find another nice looking zoa or paly
