I received an order today from BlueZoo. I have to be honest, I was a tad bit disappointed in my order. I ordered 5 green chromis, amongst other things. I only received 4 of them. The 4 I did receive, only 1 was alive. They were in the same bag, as well. It wasn't a large bag either. Sadly. It's always so discouraging to see them lifeless. Your thoughts of despair take over. You then begin to wonder about the quality of the other life you received as well. I've ordered from them before without much of an issue. My very first order with them was 5 snails. Very expensive snails, but I wanted to see the packaging and the quality of handling. I've been a customer since. Anyways...whilst one missing fish isn't a deal breaker, it was certainly disappointing to see.

How many of you guys have ordered chromis and have them arrive ok? More importantly, how many of you have received them and have them live for any length of time? I typically don't want to bother with chromis, but the mrs. insisted. Either they are too mean or they suck at living.

I ordered 6 blue-green from liveaquaria about 7 months ago. They all arrived alive, have doubled in size, & stay together in the tank.... The only one I lost committed suicide while I was wiping the glass and I found him too late on the canopy ledge. :(

They've not been aggressive towards any new additions. I love mine.

Did they ship them in different bags, or altogether? That's awesome to hear they are doing well.

I have slept since then, but if I remember correctly, it was 3 per bag? They were tiny then. Less than an inch long. I had to gutter guard my overflows coz they kept all swimming inside. Luckily my drain pipe is a 2" pipe with small holes drilled around the sides, so they didn't go down into the sump.

I apologize for the low quality pic, but here they are today.

I'm very glad they are still alive and kicking. I lost the last chromis this morning. I've never had much luck with them through the years.

I'm sorry. I don't think it was your fault. Sounds like it was poor shipping technique. That doesn't make the loss any less significant tho.
