Green chromis

From what I have heard they tend to pick each other off until there is only 1 dominant fish or sometimes 2. How are the other fish in the tank doing? How large is your tank?

Typical scenario for them. I’d say the best chance for multiples surviving is a tank size of 150 gallons or larger.

My quintet has been thriving in a 50g for nearly a year. They are too busy eating and surfing to kill each other with multiple daily feedings and 80x flow. Fingers crossed.

12 to 1 ratio for me. Start with 12 and down to 1. I have heard to use pvc 90's in the bottom of the tank for hiding...but that isn't very attractive.
