How long have you had him? Was he or any of your other fish QT'd before adding them to the DT? Any other symptoms? Scratching, flashing or heavy breathing? Are you sure the other fish (especially the other chromi) arn't attacking him? It could be happening at night as they find space to bed down. Oh and how big is the tank?

Definitely No attacking my chromish and clowns stay together and my big chromish stays alone, I did notice once i put then together for the first time they looked each other and gave each other a chase then after that nothing, my clowns are smaller too if not the same size..

29g tank

Ok. What about the rest of the questions?

No other symptoms no, he's happy eating well and shooting around the tank like a chromish does, just has a few missing scales under moon light can't notice then in daylight light tho

I'm not sure I'd worry too much yet. Maybe you could try to get a better, clearer picture. He could have an infection of some sort going on, but it's hard to tell from those pictures. With no other symptoms and he's still eating well, I would just add a vitamin supplement to the food, something like Selcon. Keep an eye out at night time for fighting though.
In my experience, Chromis tend to just die for no reason.... at least one we dont know of just yet. They have a habit of schooling together and picking each other off one at a time- at least that's what I think they are doing. We keep 50 or more at one time in a very large doughnut tank at the store. They look cool together, but they start dropping like flies, one at a time, for no apparent reason.

Actually when I bought my chromish I got 2 same size cause they do better together, this one in the pics actually was shy for about 4-5days and my other wasn't and then within those days the other one I had went shy to while that green one was coming out more, and then my other one just vanished, done eater changes etc cause I assume he died and got ate by something (just them two in a 20g at the time)

Now he's not shy at all and comes up for food and will even eat it close to my hand, so I got him a bigger chromish as a buddy and now he's shy and my little one isn't lol

My chromish hangs with my clowns

they always swim together and eat together with no aggressiveness towards each other, though my clowns are small under an inch in size and my bigger clown of the two I'd starting to be more dominant towards the smaller one who I believe will be the male, they dance and stuff and touch each other and sleep together but my chromish for once actually slept with them last night that's how I noticed his scales cause he usually hides when he sleeps

Definitely don't see any signs of illness with any of my fish, all brightly colored active and feeding well Luke piranhas lol it is possible for then to get overweight? And that be a cause for missing scales? Somewhat like a scorpion they can get obese and their armor plating expands exposing their fat lol

I'm not sure about that with fish. I've seen plenty of fat fish, but i've never seen it cause the scales to go missing or stick out. Usually a fat fish is a healthy fish. Add the vitamins and make sure your feeding healthy foods. Keep an eye out for the condition to worsen. If it does, we might start an antibiotic in the food like Kanaplex coupled with Focus.

Better pics, also is my temps good? i know it cant exceed 82f, its jut under it or at it

My clownfish photobombed it lol

Feeding mysis is better than brine as brine has no nutritional value. Lower your temp some to be safe. Ill call in back up because im not sure i didnt miss something. [HASHTAG]#Humblefish[/HASHTAG]

He looks fine during daylight, nice and blue/green and active, always eating and swimming, at night though you can see it under the LED moonlights i have, i think it may be just his pigment? because its like just darker scales
