Green Clown Goby with black spots

I posted last week about the green clown goby I recently bought with black spots. I put him in a QT bucket with prazipro and did water changes and fresh water dips every 2-3 days. It’s been 9 days. Fish is looking better but still has a couple spots. The retailer I bought from told me that the fish is just camouflaging itself. I find it hard to believe that it’s still camouflaged 9 days later. Any more insight on what I can do? Also, fish is not eating the best..

So when treating for Black Ich, the worm can leave a "tatoo" like mark where they were attached. Some of the marks will fade quickly, other more slowly.

Is there an anemone in the tank? Looks like remnants of an anemone sting otherwise black ich as mentioned by BigG.
If black ich, here are treatment options:

1. Praziquantel – 2 mg/L single dose for 7 days in a QT. Both Prazipro (2.5 mg/L) and API General Cure (2.0 mg/L) contain sufficient concentrations of praziquantel.
2. Formalin – 45 to 60 minute bath treatment, followed by transfer into a sterile QT afterwards.
3. Hyposalinity – Treat at 1.012 SG for at least 10 days. This kills both the infective and free living stages of the life cycle.
4. Freshwater dip – 5 minute freshwater dip may only provide temporary relief, and not result in complete eradication.
