My tank is several months old. I've been waiting on some purple coralline to show up, but it never has. I do have some green stuff that has the same "look" as coralline, but its green. A tad darker than a lime. I've heard of green coralline, but I have no idea what it looks like.

Very common for coralline algae to come in lime green. Under ideal conditions it should start turning pink/purple in the 3 to 4 month mark, assuming you started with dry rock.

Not all tanks experience the growth of the pink to purple coralline. A number of factors come into play, intense lighting may prohibited the growth, and deviations water chemistry. I have never had a tank that I used kalkwasser in that did not explode in coralline growth eventually. There are also animals/inverts that eat coralline.
Yes there is green coralline, but without an image to verify the growth could be something else.
You could trying seeding the system with some pink/purple coralline scraped off a rock from another system.

I have really nice pink coralline on my rocks but now this has shown up recently in my ovflo boxes... pretty sure it's green coralline...
