I really like the eraser he does a good job of flatworm and bristleworm eating I just hate coming home to coral buried in sand even up on the rockwork covered in sand how do you guys deal with this or is it just something you can't control?

Feed more often, but to a degree it comes with the territory.

He's sifting the sand looking for critters to eat.

I feed him like a pig but I still multiple times a day fan off corals even half way up the rockscape guess if I want to keep him I'll have to just deal with it or suck out all the sand and put in a sand box

Pretty normal behavior. Better water movement, heavy skimming, and water turnover to your skimmer (to say sump) will negate the effects a bit.
