Nice pic. I’ve nuked it with chemi clean. Siphon first thought so you nitrate levels won’t spike.![]()
Anyway, just for fun, this is the typical red cyanobacteria of our aquarium.
Paradoxically, it is really hard to culture in axenic condition in laboratory
I was dosing Waste-Away liquid formula and then i tried gel ..Wondering if this WA bacteria contains organic material.. hmm.. Yes, nitrate stable between 5-10 on Salifert. What dr.tim bacteria contains?anyway it is a mix of three species of cyanobacteria at least. This means that you should have a source of organic or/and carbonium. Are you sure of the nitrate concentration?
Yea, i have send water sample to FM ICP and all came in low concertation. I know Chemiclean works, but i really skeptical to add antibiotics to the tank...verify your phosphate and nitrate for elevated levels.
It is a bacteria mhich may be cyano. Siphon it up and reduce white light intensity. Product- ChemiClean will help rid of it as will addition of cleaners such as :
4-6 nassarius snails
3 turbo snail
4 trochus snail
4 astrea snail
6-8 blue leg hermits
That something you've done?Paradoxically, it is really hard to culture in axenic condition in laboratory
