Green grass thing growing on coral

Hello reefers. There is a green grass thing growing on my coral and idk what it is. Should I cut it off or keep it.

I agree, looks like algae but it is not a great picture. If that plug can be easily removed you can take it out and use peroxide. You can pull the algae off but you are unlikely to get it all. If that is the only algae in your tank and that is a new plug this one of those cases where a toothbrush and peroxide on the plug before installation can help even though gha is not really a pest so much as an opportunistic part of the tank. If it is bryopsis get some fluconazole.
