Green hair algae and fuzzy looking rock

Hi all figured may get the most help here but here's my problem I've had my tank set up and cycled for about 3 months had alot of really nice looking purple algae but now tank is taking a turn. .. I'm getting alot of green hair algae i was wondering what the best way to clean it without hurting live rock is? I took a coupe pieces and put in a bucket of salt water and took a light toothbrush to it but didn't wanna do anymore damage if i already have but rock looked good again after

That is a good method, but you need to get to the underlying cause. Have you tested your nitrate level? How much do you water change? Do you have an adequate clean up crew?

Thanks for the quick replies! My phosphates are a little high which i kno doesn't help at all working on a ro filter and a reactor right now but my phosphates are between .5- 1.0 everything else but calcium and kh are in check

Clean up crew is pretty weak just a few emerald crabs and blue legs....and I'm starting with 10 gallon water changes in a 120

I had an issue with gha in my 29. My params were all good, nitrates at 0, I am pretty sure it came on my live rock. My emerald, red mithrax, and mexican turbos took care of it. Do you have snails? How many emeralds and blue legs do you have? After you address your underlying issues, try increasing your CUC to keep future algae in check [emoji4]

I have 3 emerald crabs and about 15 blue legs...not nearly enough haha and probably gonna get some Mexican turbos in a few days and hope for the best and slowly manually clean them
