I have green string algae growing on my zoas. I dont know what to do or how to get em off and i am freakin out a little bit. Is this a bad thing? and if so, how can i clean them up? is there anything i can get or do to make it dissapear, thank you!

I would check phosphates and nitrates as was previously mentioned. If it truly is green hair algae, you can take tweezers and pull off as many strands as you can. I have also had good luck taking a toothbrush and brushing the plug or rock that has them til completely brushed off. You can also gently brush them off the close polyps of the affected zoas, then put in front of powerheads or blow any debris off with turkey baster. Then leave them alone in some good flow. When I battled HA I used the manual removal method till I got my phosphates under control. just pinched clumps off and then rinsed my fingers off in a container of freshwater outside of the tank. It is a PITA but very effective. Plus you can tell when it's starting to die off by how tough it is to pull off. I tried sea hares and I also have a purple tang, fox face and dragon goby in my tank that all eat it regularly. The problem with those solutions is they cannot eat it fast enough once it starts spreading in your tank.
