Green hair algae or green turf algae help identify

Have this green turf, algae or hair algae can’t tell which one it is, but I need help identifying before I figure out how to get rid of it

Looks like gha but I'm far from an expert. I'm just chiming in because I can believe how clean the sand is yet all that algae is on the rocks. No coral so you could pull the rocks to clean but probably should try to correct the cause or it just turns into tail chase IME. Maybe list some tank info like age, nitrate and phosphate readings and such. Dry rock start up or live.

Lets get those parameters sir. If you have no coral in the tank, kill your lights for a while, make sure you remove as much algae as possible and make sure anything you pull off gets syphoned or removed from the filter because it'll just break down into the nutrients that were used to grow it in the first place and feed more algae growth.

OK, so the tank is about three years old and I’ve been fighting this LG. I just wanna know if it’s green hair or not cause I’ve done nearly everything manually and I’ve done water changes and I’ve done the scrubber and taking out the rocks and this is been two days from when I scrubbed everything off and it’s back Nitrates are pretty high I know, but my levels read really strange because all the algae is in the tank

Wow the typing went crazy I am getting ready to use some reef flux or something chemical. because of how long I’ve been doing all the other stuff but reflux only works for GHA and Briopis

Yeah that would work perfect, the active ingredient is Fluconazole but remember to do the water changes because it's pretty intensive stuff

Just mentioning this because my experience with Flux was it killed green gha then cyano covered most everything. Then I did chemiclean and it just became a back and forth game between the two. I've read of pulling rock and treating with peroxide but have not tried it as I have coral on my rocks.
I'm still amazed at how clean the sand is I couldn't keep sand clean even when I didn't have algae issues.

Yeah, the sand is clean probably because my turbo nails and hermit crabs, but it’s also the same has pretty much a lot of flow on it all the time it’s constantly moving on the rocks so I can’t really do that just like Greenstar. It’s kind of being hidden also went through red cyano and I know how to fight it but thanks for the head’s up

Vibrant is good, I would use it more as a preventative measure and not a cure though.

Research it here. Lots of info. Seems like the company outright lied about what's in it is what I remember.
