I’m starting to see what looks like green hair algae. Should I try to blow it off with a turkey Baster? Or what other preventatives do you suggest?

Here’s a photo kind of hard to see

That is hard to see. Hair algae is usual clumped together, very thin fibers. Bryopsis is thicker and grows like a fern. Hair algae will get better with better husbandry, gfo, algae reactors, and certain cuc while Bryopsis can be a pain to get rid of. Can you get a better pic?

In either case, unless the gha is dying, a baster won't be able to blow it off
