Green hair Algae

Hey guys, whats going on? I've recently had a spirt of green hair algae sprouting all over!! I know exactly what its from too- my RODI needs a good tune up, mainly the RO cartridge (of course the expesive part!) anyways i just dont have the $50 bucks for a new one right now. is there anything i can do in the mean time to keep it at bay? i have a lawnmower, foxface, and yellow tang in there mowing away but theyre just losing this battle lol. ( no i didnt add them to "fix" my GHA problems they were there first!!). let me know guys! ive also been recently informed i run my whites too long. how long do you guys run yours?

11AM- blues come on
12PM-10PM whites and blues
10PM-11PM blues

How do you know its your RO membrane?
Whats your TDS output?
You could add a bunch of Turbo Snails to the mix, they'll help out.
I run my lights at 80%blue 60%whites for 8 hours.

I know its my R/O because my DI resin has exhausted twice in the last month already. it starts out at 0 TDS then within two weeks its at 30 tds. plus ive never changed the R/ ill pick up a new filter this week along with a sea hare and some more turbos. ythanks guys!
