Green hair algae ?

How doyou get rid of it ? My bulb is only 2 months old I run a ro,di systemand Irun a phosban reactor with carbon.I could use as much help as possible thanks.

do you feed a lot? also take the carbon out and run phosban in the reactor. i personaly think you should run the carbon for several days then toss it out.

What size tank? How many fish? What type of skimmer, waterflow? Many things to consider.

92 corner,octopus extreme ,mag drive 9.5 with two tunze 6025 and 4 fish

well i just had a small case of it and i got a tiger cowrie who devoured evrey last bit of it withing 2 weeks of getting him.....but then he decided to munch on some of my zoas and pali's and i about threw him out in the back yard a couple times...


but i ended up taking him back to the lfs lol havnt had a problem since thankfully!

but still need to find the source of the problem to fully cure of course

a bunch of astrea snails took care of mine awhile back.

I had some GHA in my 10 gallon, I threw in 15 astrea snails and they cleaned it off in a few days. You need to find out why you got the outbreak though. My tank was filled to the brim with corals and I was feeding a ton with no skimmer.
