I have a huge problem, I believe
I set up a 20g tank had it running for 4 months
Last week I had a algae outbreak
I cleaned most of it off but now it’s growing on the waving hands and on some green polyp
What should I do next ??

Welcome to Reef 2 Reef!!

For GHA,
Break it up... and then test for phosphates.
Don't use API. Get something like the Hanna ULR checker.

If your phos. is high, then bring it down nice and slow. If you drop too fast it can shock your corals.

Just to add don't drop it to 0. Corals need some phospahte and nitrate.

Good call!
Those strips seem nice, but their not accurate.

Hope you feel at home on Reef 2 Reef.
