Might be a sign that your nutrient level is too high. Do you have a test kit that can check for phosphates? If not, then frequent water changes with sea water made from distilled should help. You can always resort to the “remove it by hand” method, but that doesn’t treat the cause.

Suck out as much as you can daily, scrub it clean , keep doing this and adding different types of snails and hermits. There's a bunch of factors etc etc etc but in the end that will work. It's your tank. Don't let it live there
