Pretty sure its a majano anemone. A lot of people get rid of it because it grows really fast, similar to aptasia, but I think its really cool, you just need to keep it in check.

My advice?
If you like the way it looks, break of the chunk of rock it is on and isolate it on a separate island. Then, remove all of the ones that are on your main structure.
If you don't like them, go ahead and remove them. Just be warned they are really hard to get rid of.

I don't need it. What's the best way to get rid of them. The rock it's on is pretty big.

A needle/syringe of vinegar in the mouth worked for me. Fought them for a couple weeks. Aptasia is harder took me several months to squash those!

Other people will smother them with kalk paste or super glue or putty. I have heard of good results with kalk and super glue.

@aKlevans is correct, it's absolutely a majano anemone. They are beautiful, but spread like tank herpes. Try to find a local reefer who has a majano zapper and FRY them. They will regenerate if even a tiny piece of tissue remains behind, so exercise care and caution.
