Woke up this morning and noticed this small spot on my Green Planet. Appeared overnight. Can anyone identify if this is caused from some type of pest or able to identify a possible cause? I'm not seeing anything and will look tonight after lights out. All other SPS in tank seem unaffected. Params have been rock stable for months. No issues with water params. Thanks in advance.

very small aiptasia maybe thats killing in tht curcle?
I inspected everything in the area with magnify glass and no Aiptasia in the tank. I just discovered one of my dosing lines became disconnected but my alk only dropped from 7.4 to 7.2 so I'm ruling that out also.

I get this from time to time on my Acropora, but it's from parameters swings or issues I've created.

Thanks for the reply. My tank params have been pretty rock solid over the last 2 months. As mentioned above my Alk dosing line became disconnected but my drop was only from 7.4dkh to 7.2dkh before I noticed the line had fell off.

Yeah, I don't know on that one. Your parameters are more solid than mine ever are. I could only assume if your tank is that stable a drop of 0.2dkh could make an issue for your coral. I doubt it though.
