Green slim ID (that I don't think is algae)

This stuff has been plaguing me for a little while now. Noticed is pop up after my nutrients bottomed out. Talking to my LFS, they thought based on my description it is some kind of Dino, and that when I got my nutrients back up it would disappear. Note going away and starting to get pretty frustrating. It's kind of a green slim that can be blown off the rocks with a turkey baster in sheets.

Green cyano. Check to assure your phosphate and nitrates are not elevated
Reduce white light intensity or leave white off 3-5 days and add 1.5ml of liquid bacteria such as bacter 7 per ten gallons daily for a week. At night, add 1ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons for 10 days. It will clear up and then add snails such as margarita, nerite, trochus and astrea snails for control of any future growth

Spot on advice.
You can also increase flow to that area and it should help.

Appreciate the advice. I've been checking nutrient levels daily and they have been holding steady. Tryiong to get the Nitrate down a little with big water changes but it's been tough. Jsut got my Hanna ULR Phos checker in the mail. Was using salifert for phos but its hard for me to read the colors. Interested to see what the Hanna will say.

It's only a desktop tank with my return pump generating all flow. It's all over so hard to focus more flow. Appreciate the thoughts though.

Rather than a bunch of water changes, add a pouch of chemipure blue or elite which will lower it and keep it in check for you and provide exceptional clarity

I do have both of those on hand. My concern was them stripping the Phosphate out of the water. Considering my tank is only 14G, just coming down from some significant dosing to get it up. Using Brightwell Neophos. Per their instructions, for a tank my size to increase to .03 I should be dosing about 1ML. At the height of my dosing I was up to 8ml before seeing PO4 in the water. Have been doing 5ML daily and the Hanna just read .02. I am running some ROX 0.8 Carbon though.
