Mine started sprouting about 4 branches simultaneously within 3 weeks. 1 straight up and the others out to the sides.

Pretty quickly. Fastest growing acro in my tank, by far.

Well I've had mine for a month now and even though there are tiny stubs of growth up and down it hasn't done too much yet. Still gradually adjusting my lights for new arrivals so maybe it just needs more lighting.

Mine hasn’t grown a bit in 6 months or so since I got it, but everything else has been growing fairly good.

What are you changing your lighting for? I would think keeping lighting the same and just keeping new pieces low would be easier on the corals you have had for a while. That being said I wouldn’t change anything because a coral hasn’t grown a certain way in only a months time. Keep things stable and good things will happen.

Green slimer was my first Acro, I’ve had it since April 17th. It’s encrusting the plug nicely and is also growing upwards in the short time I’ve had it. No outward branching yet, I just have a single stalk that looks like a gherkin pickle ;Hilarious

Yeah yeah yeah

Just checking mine tonight and the side that's not getting hit by flow is going pale and receding from bottom to top. Would this indicate it needs to be hit with more flow? Everything else seems good and there's no shading. Maybe more light?

Correction.....its the side that gets hit with flow. I've only got a Mp10 in the tank and the slimer is on the opposite side.

Mine grows about 1/2” per month - it’s crazy. I cut it down almost completely less than a year ago and it was already back to this. Just removed most of it 3 weeks ago and it’s already filling back in.
